Preconditions
Generally, the course requires knowledge of basic microeconomic theory. Examples of terms with which the participants should be familiar are: marginal cost, marginal revenue, profit maximization and constrained optimization
Learning results
After completion of the module, students:
- understand the model structure, and the characteristics that distinguish CAPRI from other models,
- understand in some depth one of the core parts of CAPRI,
- understand the main underlying data,
- are able to use the Graphical User Interface (GUI),
- are able to critically analyze CAPRI results,
- are
able to modify scenarios, construct simple scenarios from scratch and
more complex scenarios by combining basic scenario files,
- understand coding practices used in CAPRI.
