Welcome to the Diagnostks seminar.
In this course, we are going to investigate important aspects of the neuromuscular control of human muscles and human locomotion.
Students are going to be split into groups and each group will choose between four projects. Each project describes one of the areas focused on by this course.
We are then going to the biomechanics lab and apply what the literature is telling us for ourselves.
The projects:
1) Moment-angle relationship of the knee-extensor muscles.
2) Diagnostic of the abilities of the 1-jointed Soleus and the 2-jointed Gastrocnemii.
3) Determination of the moment, power and angular velocity of the knee-extensor muscles.
4) Electromyographic-moment relationship of the knee-extensor muscles during isometric contractions.
Important dates: 19, 20 and 26 of February 2024.
