This course intends to explore the cognitive processes underlying language processing, also with respect to different situational contexts. An introduction to the theory and research carried out in this domain will be complemented by hands-on experience in the laboratories in small groups, exploring real-time methods such as electroencephalography (EEG), COVID-19 permitting. At the end of the course, students should have acquired the fundamentals of this technique and of its practical applications in psycholinguistics, such as experimental design and the conduction of simple experiments. The course will be held in English.
