This course covers patterns of variation across English and learner
Englishes. Focus is on identifying features of variation in the sound
and grammar system, considering their structure, and exploring some of
the linguistic processes giving rise to variation. The course is taught
asynchronously. There will occasionally be voluntary Zoom meetings for
questions and discussions.
