STRICTLY, Mind and Brain master’s and doctoral students ONLY!
MATLAB is a programming language and computing environment used widely across brain and cognitive sciences. Beyond the built-in toolboxes, many open-source software used for analysis and visualization of brain data are written in MATLAB. Therefore, mastering this language is a great asset for cognitive neuroscientists - or anyone looking to add a new skill to their repertoire.
In this course, we will start with the basics of the language and its key functions to handle all kinds of information. We will also cover selected practical applications specific for cognitive neuroscientists, such as signal processing, data wrangling, and basic operations on MRI data.
