KM3: Moderne Elektronenstrukturmethoden

In this course we will focus on modern methods of quantum chemistry, which are widely employed in calculations of the electronic structure of molecules and their chemical properties. We will analyse in detail the underlying theory and mathematical formalism, derive the working equations and implement some of these methods as a computer program.

The course will consist of lectures and a programming practicum. For participating in the practicum, a prior knowledge of programming is not necessary.
