  • Introduction to the path-integral formulation of Quantum Field Theory
  • Wick rotation, Euclidean Quantum Field Theory, Statistical Mechanical interpretation
  • Lattice discretization of the scalar field theory
  • Analysis of the free scalar theory, and lattice perturbation theory
  • How to calculate particle masses in non-perturbative QFT
  • Definition and geometrical properties of gauge theories
  • Wilson action for QED and the Yang-Mills theory, Haar measure and path integral
  • Fermionic degrees of freedom and Grassmann variables
  • Doubling "problem" and Wilson fermions
  • QCD: symmetries and continuum limit
  • Elements of Monte Carlo simulations for lattice QFT
