This course is for students who are interested in the causal impact of Human Resource Management practices on organizational performance. After a brief introduction about the fundamentals of randomized controlled trials, we will analyze and discuss state-of-the-art empirical studies testing the effects of the HR instruments on employee behavior. You will learn how to bring randomized controlled trials to organizational challenges in the field of Human Resources Management; expand your analytical and decision-making skills; transfer your knowledge of personnel economics into the organizational context.
