The interdisciplinary bachelor's programme will provide an insight into the field of green infrastructure and nature-based planning in terms of concepts, qualitative and quantitative assessments with appropriate methods and indicators, and interpretation. This year, it will also focus on the biodiversity and social importance of unused open spaces, brownfields and associated green spaces.
Participants will actively contribute by carrying out their own small project, supported by the course leaders, using plant mapping Apps and applying non-participatory field observation and mapping methods.
The course is open to all undergraduate students of the Geographical Institute as well as external participants from Erasmus and other Berlin universities.
