Kurs-Information

The focus of this colloquium, which will be held in English, will on translating Asclepius's commentary on Aristotle's Metaphysics Book VII.  We will read this text in the original Greek, very closely, and discuss different possible translations and philosophical interpretations.  Participants are expected to have some knowledge of ancient Greek, and to have read and thought some about Metaphysics Book VII prior to the start of the semester.
