The ERIA Training Programme for Practitioners on Climate proposes an interdisciplinary approach to studying climate issues. It is open to practitioners, researchers and students from all fields and disciplines, aligning with the Circle U. ethos that the greatest challenges of our age require interdisciplinary, collective solutions. Over the course of the four days, we will ask: how can policymakers, public service providers and non-governmental professionals help make our societies and infrastructures sustainable for the future?
Over the course of the programme participants
- gain insight into the science behind climate change
- get an overview of EU policy frameworks pertaining to climate sustainability
- explore best practices in adaptation and mitigation through case studies
- find out how to adapt them to their own work environment and local context,
- exchange with academics and felllow practitioners.
