This course will cover a topic relevant both for financial economics and for citizenship: The creditworthiness of countries. We will dive into the methodology behind sovereign credit ratings. The course will conclude with an oral examination. During this examination, teams of students will give presentations regarding the creditworthiness of a "sample" of countries, which will be specified by the instructor, Alex Stomper.
