This course is for students who are interested in the causal impact of Human Resource Management practices on organizational performance. After a brief introduction to the fundamentals of randomized controlled trials, we will analyze and discuss state-of-the-art empirical studies testing the effects of the HR instruments on employees behavior. Participants will learn to address organizational challenges with randomized controlled trials, expand their analytical and decision-making skills; and transfer knowledge of personnel economics into the organizational context.
