This seminar offers a detailed examination of mainland China’s efforts to achieve „green transformation“ （绿色转型). We begin with an exploration of the concept of the anthropocene and what it implies for state leaders’ dreams of sustainable development. With these insights in mind, we then turn to a close look at key elements of China’s climate and environmental politics.
