This course introduces major topics and debates in feminist theory since the 1960s. We will read the classical texts, Black feminist thought, such as Patricia Hill Collins and decolonial texts, such as Maria Lugones. One session will be dedicated to the readings that the students would like to read and discuss. A central focus is on the decolonialism within feminist thought in terms of theoretical frameworks with a specific focus on intersectionality. The students who take this course will equipped with the key concepts and the texts of feminist theory. This class is in English. The students can write their papers both in German and in English.
