We will introduce symbioses with importance for the nutrition of plants. We briefly introduce background knowledge on plant nutrition and symbiosis research, and then discuss several types of symbioses (biological N2-fixation, mycorrhizal colonisation, and other plant-associated microorganisms). We discuss how such symbioses can be exploited in agriculture and horticulture. The participants will also have the chance to view and discuss current research approaches in the field of plant nutrition symbiosis research.

Module language
We teach in English language, but questions, presentations and examinations in German language are possible

Remote/digital learning
The course will be offered completely in digital form. If permitted, we will have a few additional (non-mandatory) in house events
