Objectives
The students
- understand the specificities of habitat types in lakes and rivers, and the effects of human impacts
- learn about the links between biogeochemical cycles and the biotic components in aquatic systems
- learn about the biology
and ecology of primary producers, primary and secondary consumers in aquatic systems
- understand how aquatic and terrestrial environments
are ecologically interconnected
